Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment seeks an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to service, maintain and repair ice machines, display cabinets and cold rooms across West Yorkshire to the East Coast. The role is mobile, covering sites such as petrol stations, schools, hospitals, pubs and restaurants.

A strong refrigeration background is required with ability to perform planned and reactive maintenance. A full UK driving licence and F-gas 2079 certification are essential; petrol station certificate

Qualifications

• Strong refrigeration background with experience in service, maintenance and breakdown.
• Experience on ice machines and cold rooms.
• Willing to travel across Yorkshire and cover mobile sites.
• Full UK driving licence and F-gas certification.
• Leeds/Bradford based.
• Petrol station certificate is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• On call one week in six with on-call allowance.

Job description

Position: Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Covering West Yorkshire and across to the East Coast

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 per annum, plus door to door travel

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a full time, permanent position covering Yorkshire

This position will be covering sites that will include petrol stations, schools, hospitals, public houses and restaurants. They will be dealing with the service, maintenance and breakdown of ice machines, display cabinets and cold rooms.

The right person for this position will already have a strong refrigeration background. They need to be able to deal with the planned and reactive maintenance.

This is a mobile position so we will require a full UK driving licence as well as fgas. It would be an advantage if this person had their petrol station certificate, however this is not essential

Requirements

• Strong working background in refrigeration service, maintenance and breakdown
• Experience on plant from Ice Machines to Cold Rooms
• Happy to travel throughout the Yorkshire area
• Fgas 2079
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Based in the Leeds / Bradford area
• Some air conditioning experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Level 2 in Refrigeration would be a bonus
