Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trainer/Assessor to deliver both theory and practical training to Apprentices in Manchester. The role is site based, full-time and permanent, with a salary up to £42,200 depending on qualifications and experience.

You will coach learners, maintain progress records, adapt delivery to individual needs and prepare candidates for End Point Assessment, while also demonstrating strong IT skills and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Tutor/Assessor.
• Solid occupational experience in refrigeration/air conditioning.
• Must hold FGas Level 3 qualification.
• Experience of training / coaching / mentoring others in-house.
• Confident teaching in a classroom/workshop setting.
• Good level of IT skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions to Apprentices in a group/classroom setting, working towards their Level 3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprenticeship.
• Coach, support and motivate learners throughout their training programme, ensuring learners are progressing within expectations.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Support learners to ensure they are fully prepared for End Point Assessment.
