Job summary

EET (Essar Energy Transition) invites applications for a Cost and Performance Engineer to support refinery manufacturing by delivering robust cost analysis, budgets and performance reporting. The role requires driving cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives, with an emphasis on accurate data interpretation and stakeholder collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, strong Excel and SAP skills, and a mindset geared toward

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline (QS, business, finance) or HNC/HND with significant experience.
• Experience in cost management, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Desirable: experience in oil refining, petrochemical or process industries; SAP knowledge and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost analysis, budget control and performance reporting across Refinery Manufacturing.
• Analyse and present cost, commercial and performance data from SAP and other systems to support decision-making.
• Produce and maintain cost reports, forecasts and performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities to improve budget performance.
• Provide independent challenge and assurance on maintenance and turnaround costs, performance and budget management.
• Support turnaround events by developing cost forecasts, monitoring expenditure and cost allocations.
