Essar Energy Transition is offering a three-year graduate programme at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex in Ellesmere Port. The role provides rotations across Technology and Production units, exposing you to refinery operations, data analysis, and targeted technical recommendations. Pending IChemE Chartered status support.

You will join a structured development pathway with strong emphasis on safety, discipline, and professional growth within a leading energy transition company.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Chemical Engineering with a minimum 2:1 grade.
• Excellent literacy skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Confident communicators with ability to express ideas clearly in writing and verbally.
• Comfortable presenting to a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
• Resilient and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Rotational structure within the Technology function to give a well-rounded view of operations.
• Gain in-depth exposure to Production Unit operations and refinery processes.
• Monitor unit performance, analyse data, and provide technical recommendations to optimise output.
• Specialist training through the IChemE accreditation pathway and support from a Chartered mentor.
