Job summary

ADM is seeking a Process Engineer to join our specialty oilseeds refinery team, reviewing production to improve plant effectiveness and reduce costs. You will challenge the norm in manufacturing and promote a continuous improvement culture.

Educated to degree level with 1-3 years' post graduate experience in process plant operations, you will analyse processes, drive safety, and support capital projects while working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in engineering (or related) discipline.
  • 1-3 years' post graduate experience in process plant/manufacturing operations.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety in production environments.
  • Strong affinity to continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent problem solving, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess existing production processes and workflows in the refinery.
  • Identify process safety and efficiency improvements and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Finetune production processes by researching, designing, modifying and testing methods and equipment.
  • Rectify production and equipment problems as required.
  • Analyze plant and process data/metrics.
  • Identify cost parameters and opportunities for cost reductions.
  • Assist in capital proposals/projects and interface between production and engineering.
  • Identify potential suppliers and trial processing of raw materials.
