  • Act as the SAP subject matter expert for cost management, reporting, commitments tracking, accruals and financial administration, providing guidance and support to stakeholders.
  • Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards and performance measures to improve visibility of costs, contractor performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, turnaround, finance, project and operational teams to deliver accurate reporting and support business objectives.
  • Support audit, compliance and HSSE requirements, including KPI reporting and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and promote cost‑saving opportunities, process improvements and efficiency initiatives across the refinery.
  • Support digitalisation projects and the implementation of technology solutions that improve reporting, analysis and operational performance.
  • Provide support during turnaround periods, including additional hours and weekend working when required.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel across site as required.
About You
  • The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as Quantity Surveying, Business Management or Finance, although candidates with an HNC/HND and significant relevant experience will also be considered
  • You will have experience in cost management, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting within a maintenance, turnaround, project or operational environment, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex data
  • Experience within the oil refining, petrochemical or wider process industries is desirable, along with knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills.
  • We are looking for a commercially minded individual with a strong focus on continuous improvement, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the flexibility to adapt within a fast‑paced operational environment.
