Job summary

BDS Recruitment are recruiting an organised Referral Coordinator to join a supported housing service from Tolvaddon or St Austell. The role supports people fleeing domestic abuse with complex needs.

You will coordinate referrals, liaise with agencies and partner organisations, complete initial risk assessments, and help with placements. This temp role starts ASAP and requires an enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Experience in referrals, supported housing, homelessness, domestic abuse, housing, social care, safeguarding or community services.
• Previous experience in a coordination, referral, housing or support-based role.
• Understanding of risk assessment and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage referrals into the service.
• Liaise with referring agencies, professionals and partner organisations.
• Gather and assess referral information to identify support needs and risks.
• Complete initial risk assessments and ensure relevant information is shared appropriately.
• Coordinate placements and liaise with the team regarding accommodation availability.
• Maintain accurate referral records, case notes and databases.
