Job summary

BRC Jobs is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join a supported housing service working with people fleeing domestic abuse who may have complex support needs. This is a community-based role visiting Launceston, Bodmin and Liskeard, managing a caseload and delivering person-centred support to help residents access services and move toward greater independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported housing, homelessness, or social care.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Full Enhanced DBS covering Adults and Children.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and plan your diary.
• Visit residents across housing properties.
• Complete risk assessments and review needs.
• Develop and review individual support plans.
• Provide tenancy sustainment and housing-related support.
• Support move-on planning for independent living.
• Provide practical and emotional support.
• Help residents access community services.
• Maintain case notes and records.
• Collaborate with professionals and external agencies.
• Occasional home working for admin and case management.
