Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited in Bellshill is seeking Recycling Operatives to join our team in a busy recycling and materials-handling environment. This is a hands-on role that involves sorting materials, manual handling, and working outdoors in a yard setting.

Ideal candidates will be physically fit, reliable and able to work well in a team. Full PPE is provided, and there is a long-term opportunity for the right person.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a yard environment.
• Experience in recycling, waste management, yard work, warehouse or general labour is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate recyclable materials.
• Handle materials including metals like aluminium, stainless steel and copper.
• Load, unload and move materials around the site.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Support the wider yard team with general duties.
• Follow site procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
• Wear the correct PPE at all times.

Recycling Operatives to join our team in Bellshill. This is a hands-on role working within a busy recycling and materials-handling environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sorting and separating recyclable materials
• Handling materials including aluminium, stainless steel, copper and other metals
• Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Supporting the wider yard team with general duties
• Following site procedures and Health & Safety requirements
• Wearing the correct PPE at all times

What We're Looking For

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

• Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Comfortable working in an outdoor/yard environment
• Previous experience in recycling, waste management, yard work, warehouse or general labour is
