Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking Recycling Operatives to join a busy Bellshill site. This hands-on role involves sorting and moving recyclable materials outdoors, while following safety procedures and wearing PPE.

You should be physically fit, reliable and able to work as part of a team. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential. We offer weekly pay, overtime, and a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate recyclable materials.

RECYCLING OPERATIVE

Location: Bellshill

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Overtime: Available

We are currently looking for Recycling Operatives to join our team in Bellshill. This is a hands-on role working within a busy recycling and materials-handling environment.

If you're physically fit, reliable and don't mind working outdoors and getting stuck in, this could be a great opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sorting and separating recyclable materials
• Handling materials including aluminium, stainless steel, copper and other metals
• Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Supporting the wider yard team with general duties
• Following site procedures and Health & Safety requirements
• Wearing the correct PPE at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to work as part of a team
• Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Comfortable working in an outdoor/yard environment
• Previous experience in recycling, waste management, yard work, warehouse or general labour is advantageous but not essential
