Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Recruitment Resourcer in London to join their HR team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role focuses on attracting and engaging candidates for white-collar and project labour across the business, collaborating with Labour Manager and HR colleagues to ensure smooth handover to onboarding.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at least grade 4-9 or equivalent.
• Degree is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in recruitment, particularly in construction/engineering contexts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source direct project labour to meet project demands and business needs.
• Assist Labour Manager with blue-collar recruitment requirements.
• Proactively headhunt skilled labour using sourcing methods (online databases, job boards, networking, referrals, social media).
• Build and maintain talent pools for ongoing recruitment needs.
• Create and manage compelling job adverts across platforms and social channels.
• Conduct initial qualification calls to assess availability, experience, and salary expectations.
• Support recruitment campaigns for mobilisations and high-volume hiring.
• Maintain regular, positive communication with candidates throughout the process.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure smooth handover from recruitment to onboarding.
• Uphold recruitment activities in line with policies and legislation.
• Foster diversity and inclusion in recruitment practices.

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Recruitment Resourcer to join their Human Resources team. This pivotal role will support the recruitment of both white-collar resources and direct project labour across the business. Collaborating closely with the Labour Manager and HR team, the Recruitment Resourcer will be responsible for attracting and engaging high-quality candidates to fulfil current and future labour and support function requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Source direct project labour requirements to align with project demands and business needs.
• Assist the Labour Manager in fulfilling blue-collar recruitment requirements.

Person Specification: Technical Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in recruitment, particularly within construction, engineering, and labour-intensive industries is highly desired.

Qualifications:

• Educated to GCSE level with grades 4-9 (A-C) in English and Maths, or equivalent.
• A degree is desirable but not essential.

• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies concurrently.

Experience:
