Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Recruitment Officer in Liverpool to manage the end-to-end recruitment process. This includes advising on engaging adverts, conducting checks, and supporting both managers and candidates. The successful applicant will have experience using Tribepad, plus a robust background in internal recruitment. This role is a temporary 3-month contract, offering a hybrid working model with 2 days in the office each week. Pay is £22.20 per hour, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Job description

Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Recruitment Officer for our client a government organisation in Liverpool. The successful post holder will be responsible for a personal caseload of recruitment activity, managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including providing advice and guidance on writing engaging adverts, selection methods and tools, the preparation of recruitment documentation, carrying out pre-appointment checks, processing DBS checks, answering questions about terms and conditions of employment, issuing contracts and any other queries that will come your way from managers or candidates.

This role is a temporary contract initially for 3 months with the possibility to extend. This role is hybrid working, with 2 days per week in the office. MUST HAVE USED TRIBEPAD PREVIOUSLY!

  • Provide recruitment advice, guidance and support to applicants and managers in accordance with policies and procedures, employment legislation, and HR established best practice.
  • The Recruitment officer will provide advice and guidance and support to ensure vacancies are advertised through appropriate channels such as social media, with partner agencies and external professional websites and publications, and via our ATS.
  • With training, the Recruitment officer will competently operate and be able to advise on the use of internal recruitment and applicant tracking systems, HR/Payroll systems and other suppliers.
  • Facilitate, review and verify eligibility to work documentation, references, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) applications, and medical screening documentation in a timely and efficient manner for new employees / workers.
  • Represent the organisation at job fairs and employment events promoting opportunities to a diverse range of candidates.
  • Work as part of a busy team, the role of a Recruitment officer will be to take a flexible and agile approach to their day to day, and be able to approach each vacancy with a fresh approach.
  • Being a Brand ambassador for the organisation, the Recruitment officer will attend events alongside colleagues to engage with our communuities, schools and Universities.
PersonalRequirements
  • Must have experience using Tribepad.
  • Must have previous internal recruitment experience in a fast paced environment, multi tasking between being a Recruiter and carrying out pre-employment checks.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing a first class quality customer service in a busy and fast paced environment.
  • A soundunderstandingof end-to-end recruitment processes including vetting and barring process.
  • Experience in using applicant tracking or e-recruitment systems.
  • Good ICT skills and confident with Microsoft Office tools and working knowledge of using AI.
Working Hours:

35 hrs / 9:00am - 17:00pm / Monday - Friday

Pay:

£22.20 per hr
