Job summary

Milestone Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our growing construction recruitment team. You will develop relationships with clients and candidates across the construction sector, manage the full recruitment process from initial contact to placement, and drive new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days a week), a competitive base salary of £40,000–£45,000, and uncapped commission with substantial earning

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with construction clients and candidates.
• Source, screen and interview candidates for construction vacancies.
• Manage the recruitment process from initial brief through placement.
• Generate new business through calls, networking and referrals.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts.
• Build and maintain a network of construction candidates.
• Negotiate fees, salaries and terms with clients and candidates.
• Keep accurate records of candidates, clients and vacancies in the CRM.
• Stay up to date with construction industry trends and market conditions.
• Meet and exceed individual and team revenue and activity targets.

• Location - Cheshire
• Hybrid 3 Days a week offered
• Salary - £40,000- £45,000
• Commission - No threshold, uncapped commission with a minimum of 15% of billings
• Employment Type - Permanent / Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing construction recruitment team.

You will be responsible for developing relationships with clients and candidates across the construction sector, identifying new business opportunities, and managing the full recruitment process from initial contact through to placement.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Experienced in recruitment, ideally within construction, engineering, property or another related sector.

• Comfortable developing new business and making outbound calls.
• A strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.

Construction recruitment experience is preferred, but we will also consider ambitious recruiters from other sectors with a strong track record.
