Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd in Essex is expanding its Russell Taylor Essex branch and seeks a Recruitment Consultant to place temporary trades and labour staff on construction sites across the region.

You'll build relationships with clients and candidates in person, visit sites, source candidates via job boards and networks, interview and screen, and manage bookings in a fast-paced environment. Enjoy a supportive, family-feel team and clear career growth.

• Confident communicator who builds lasting client and candidate relationships.

• Experience using social media and recruitment technology to source candidates.
• Resilient and positive under pressure.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate records using CRM and recruitment systems.

Recruitment Consultant – Construction (Temporary Trades & Labour)

Salary up to 35,000 per annum depending on experience plus uncapped commission

Location: Essex

Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm | Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

25 days plus bank holidays, rising by 1 day per year up to 30 days plus bank holidays

As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding Temporary Trades & Labour division working under our Russell Taylor brand.

We believe recruitment is about people. You will spend plenty of time building relationships face-to-face with clients and candidates, rather than being behind a desk all day.

You will play a key role in supplying skilled trades and labour staff to construction projects across the region.

What we are looking for:

• Previous recruitment experience, ideally within Construction Trades & Labour or another fast-paced temporary recruitment sector.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Comfortable using social media and recruitment technology to source candidates.
• A resilient, positive approach and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence preferred, but not essential.
• Right to work in the UK.

What we offer:

• Basic salary up to £35,000.00 per year, depending on experience.
• Uncapped earning potential with a competitive commission structure.
• Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am-3:30pm.
• 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays.
