Capital R2R Limited in the Northwest is seeking an experienced Engineering and Technical Recruitment Consultant to join a well-established team in Runcorn. You will own a 360 desk, manage full recruitment processes for permanent and contract roles, and develop client relationships with back-office support.

The role offers a competitive £28k–£45k salary plus uncapped commission, 1 day per week WFH, mobile and laptop, and free onsite parking.

Engineering and Technical Recruitment Consultant

Location: Runcorn

Salary: £28k to £45k plus commission

We are looking for experienced Recruitment Consultant to join a well-established Engineering Recruiter based in Runcorn working within a dynamic and professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant with a proven track record to take ownership of a desk and develop it further, with the full support of a wider network and excellent back office facilities.

There are a number of roles you can work on from day 1 as they currently have more jobs they can fill but still expect someone to be able to operate as a 360 and also find roles to fill themselves, though there will be plenty to keep you busy in the interim.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full 360 recruitment process across permanent and/or contract roles
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to drive business growth
• Build and manage a strong candidate pipeline within Engineering (most sectors and disciplines such as M&E, Piping, EC&!)
• Source, interview, and place high-quality candidates in line with client requirements
• Proactively develop business through both telephone and face-to-face engagement
• Maintain accurate records and deliver a professional, consultative service at all times

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 6 months' experience in 360 recruitment, will also look at a resourcer
• Demonstrable track record of billing success
• Background within Engineering or related sector preferable
• Business development skills with the ability to win and retain clients
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building abilities
• Proactive, driven, and commercially focused
• Willing to pick up the phone
