Role Overview
Are you currently working in aviation recruitment or are you working 'on the tools' in Aviation or Autosport but seeking a new and rewarding challenge, leveraging your industry network to place people into new jobs or careers?
As a Recruitment Consultant you will be placing people into contract and permanent roles in both the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver our existing client relationships including offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression.
- Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients for suitable applicants.
- Utilising our candidate database (CRM), social media and job boards to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships.
- Assess candidates to ensure match on experience, qualification, cultural fit and compatibility.
- Present high quality shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summary.
- Conduct confidential interviews, follow up references and check RTW.
- Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion, finalising arrangements between client and candidate.
- Follow up with clients and assist with the candidate's transition and onboarding process.
Manage and Develop Key Accounts
- Develop opportunities for growth through effective customer account management.
- Active client & candidate management – promptly resolve issues, queries and concerns.
- Developing a good understanding of client's business, work culture and environment.
- Nurture strong customer relationships and trust, obtaining a clear view on their strategic and financial objectives and future hiring plan.
- Attend, exhibit and promote Aeropeople and its services.

About You
- A working knowledge of any of the following sectors is preferred: Aerospace, Aviation, Engineering, Defence, Automotive.
- Self‑motivated and driven to succeed whether working independently or part of a team.
- An adaptable, active listener and confident communicator in all mediums.
- Be organised and thorough, great attention to detail when working with multiple candidates.
- Tenacious, determined to meet recruitment targets and deadlines when working remotely.
- A goal‑oriented approach to work.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Deliver and maintain exceptional standards of customer service.
- Commercial acumen and effective negotiation and influencing skills.
- Hold a valid UK Drivers Licence.
- Be willing and able to travel overseas if/as required.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
Training and guidance will be given.
