Recruitment Consultant Renewable & Green Energy

Manchester

£40,000 basic + uncapped commission

This is an opportunity to join a specialist Renewable & Green Energy Engineering division at a time when the sector is scaling at an unprecedented speed. The team is expanding in Manchester and is looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant who wants to build a long‑term career in one of the UK’s most dynamic technical markets.

You’ll be working at the heart of the clean‑energy transition, partnering with EPCs, developers and engineering consultancies delivering large‑scale solar, BESS, wind, hydrogen and wide‑net zero infrastructure projects across the UK.

The role

You’ll play a key part in growing a high‑performing desk within a market that rewards expertise, relationship‑building and commercial initiative.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the full 360 recruitment process across engineering, technical and project delivery roles
  • Developing long‑term relationships with energy developers, EPC contractors and specialist consultancies
  • Proactively head‑hunting niche technical talent across Grid, HV, Design, Project Delivery and O&M
  • Building and owning your own specialist vertical within the renewable energy sector
  • Advising clients on market trends, salary benchmarking and talent strategy
  • Representing the brand at industry events, networking sessions and sector briefings
