Job summary

The Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Recruitment Administrator to join our Recruitment team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will handle end-to-end recruitment tasks with accuracy and a customer-focused approach.

Main duties include advertising, shortlisting, interviewing coordination, offers, and NHS checks across ESR/TRAC systems, with training provided. You will support hiring managers and candidates with professionalism.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience is essential.
• GCSE Maths or equivalent is required.
• In depth knowledge of ESR/NHS Jobs/TRAC systems is essential.
• Understanding of NHS workforce requirements and safe employment practices is expected.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with candidates and managers and support the recruitment process.
• Coordinate advertising internally and externally and manage shortlisting
• Set up interviews and issue offers (conditional and unconditional)
• Conduct NHS employment checks (ID, right to work, DBS, occupational health, references)
• Input new starter details into ESR and TRAC systems
• Attend Recruitment Events as required, including evenings/weekends
