Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a permanent Recruitment Officer to manage end-to-end recruitment across the Trust, including international and honorary posts. You will publish adverts, chase managers, conduct pre-employment checks, and manage contracts and ID/smartcard administration.

The role offers hybrid working up to two days from home after training, with a supportive induction.

Qualifications

• Customer service or public-facing admin and advisory experience.
• Office experience in a team setting, working methodically.
• Practical use of Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
• Experience using ESR or an equivalent electronic employee records systemExperience working within the NHS

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end recruitment across the Trust, including international, medical, honorary, bank, volunteer and general requests.
• Meet successful candidates to complete recruitment checks and ensure safe recruitment.
• Issue contracts and administer honorary contracts for all staff.
• Administer ID cards, Trust smartcards and unlock cards, applying security protocols before access is granted.
• Publish adverts on NHS Jobs and Trac and in external publications when required, and update social media.
• Support candidates and managers through recruitment, keeping them updated and chasing managers against the recruitment service level agreement.
• Keep up to date with NHS Safer Employment checks and follow and advise on the Recruitment and Selection policy.
• Administer Certificates of Sponsorship through the Home Office system
• Enter all ESR and other system data and support managers with systems and processes
• Support recruitment events and induction on and off site
• Train and support new staff, flag training issues, and share workload with the team
• Support the Head of Recruitment in developing and delivering the workforce strategy and related policies
