Job summary

BH Live Active – Corfe Mullen is seeking a part-time Cleaner to keep the leisure centre clean and welcoming. This permanent role is 14 hours per week, with weekend/evening work possible.

You will follow the cleaning schedule, sign off completed tasks, store products safely, and comply with health and safety requirements. Training will be provided as needed. Join a friendly team at a busy community hub offering gym and pool facilities.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of cleaning procedures.
• Proactive, self-motivated and flexible.
• Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
• Working hours may include weekends, bank holidays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning as per the cleaning schedule.
• Complete and sign off the task list when jobs are completed to the required standards.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored in line with health and safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Ensure you comply with all health and safety requirements.
• Attend training as and when required.

Full time salary: £24,522 per annum

The role:

Do want to help us ensure our BH Live Active, Corfe Mullen leisure centre is kept clean and tidy? If so, we are looking for a part time cleaner to join our team.

We operate BH Live Active, Corfe Mullen in East Dorset. It is a lively community hub, with high-quality fitness facilities for all.

The gym has two levels, with a lift, access to a cardio zone, free weights, resistance machines for strength and toning, plus functional fitness areas.

The swimming facilities at Corfe Mullen are bright and welcoming offering lane swimming, pool-based classes and lessons. There are also steam and sauna facilities.

The centre is a winner of Sporta’s Impact of New Facility award, and was a Newcomer of the Year finalist in UK Active’s National Fitness Awards.
