Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Recovery Worker in Redcar to support adults with mental health difficulties in a supported housing setting. The role focuses on promoting recovery, independence and tenancy skills, with personalised support and meaningful community engagement.

It is a permanent, part-time position (22 hours per week) with rota-based hours including sleepovers, weekends and on-call duties. Comprehensive benefits accompany the role at Waythrough.

• Experience in mental health support or social care.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health challenges.

• Assist with access to services, education, volunteering and employment opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to support planning.
• Participate in rota, including sleepovers and weekend/on-call duties.
