Waythrough is recruiting a Recovery Worker for the Macclesfield Supported Housing service in Cheshire. This part-time, permanent role offers 18.5 hours per week on a rota basis, with a pro rata salary of £25,877.80 to £30,868.31 per annum. You’ll support residents to maintain tenancy, develop life skills and work within a recovery-focused team.

You’ll need experience in mental health, flexibility for rota duties, strong record-keeping and empathy. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within the mental health sector.
• Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
• Ability to respond compassionately to sensitive and complex issues.
• Able to motivate, support and advocate for people using services.
• Able to keep good and accurate records.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Good IT skills, including Word, databases and email.
• Understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience.
