Job summary

Turning Point UK is recruiting Recovery Workers in Slough to support individuals on their recovery journey through community-based services, homelessness outreach and criminal justice pathways. You will act as a key worker, coordinating assessments, treatment plans and liaising with clinical staff to ensure client-centred care.

The role emphasises flexible delivery, effective communication, and a commitment to Turning Point values with a strong focus on improving outcomes for service users.

Qualifications

• Understanding of substance and alcohol use and recovery journey.
• Flexibility to work one-to-one and in groups, and adapt to different service user needs.
• Excellent communication skills and alignment with Turning Point values.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key worker with a caseload, helping clients set goals and develop plans for treatment.
• Maintain regular contact, provide information and psychosocial interventions, and coordinate with clinical staff and partner agencies.
• Manage tasks and engage with diverse service users in line with Turning Point values.
