Job summary

Turning Point's Hinckley Hub in Leicestershire is seeking a Recovery Worker to act as a key worker for a caseload of service users, supporting them to set goals around treatment and develop plans to achieve them.

You will maintain regular contact, offer information and psycho-social interventions, and work closely with clinical staff on prescribing needs and with partner agencies. The role supports career progression within Turning Point.

Qualifications

  • Experience or interest in substance use, mental health, homelessness, or health and social care.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse service users.
  • Flexibility and ability to work one-to-one and in group settings.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a 'key worker' for a caseload of service users, helping them set goals around treatment and develop plans to achieve them.
  • Maintain regular contact, provide advice, information and psychosocial interventions.
  • Conduct assessments, risk management planning and liaise with clinical staff around prescribing needs and partner agencies.
