Job summary

We Are With You in Oban is seeking a Recovery Worker to support people affected by substance use and their families, using evidence-based approaches. You will be comfortable engaging with clients and their networks across a wide area.

You will manage a caseload across Argyll and Bute, travel as needed, and work from our Oban base while collaborating with NHS and third-sector partners. Remote appointments may be used to improve access to support.

Qualifications

• SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare is preferred.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle are essential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of individuals and family members.
• Support people affected by substance use issues and their families using evidence-based approaches.
• Work with local partners to ensure access to support, including remote methods (phone/virtual).
• Be part of a frontline team, with management guidance and ongoing training.
