Job summary

WithYou invites applications for a Recovery Worker in Oban, working 22.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. You will support people affected by substance use, work with local partners, and may travel across Argyll and Bute.

A driving licence and SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare are preferred, with a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. The role includes remote options and ongoing training, with a starting salary pro rata of £26,250, rising to £30,900.

Qualifications

• SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare preferred, or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support development of Oban, Lorn and Small Isles service; travel across the area as needed.
• Assist people affected by substance use and their families using evidence‑based approaches.
• Collaborate with local partners to connect clients to health and wellbeing services.
• Utilise remote working options (phone/virtual appointments) when appropriate.
• Manage caseload with support from the wider team.
