Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join the Aberdeenshire Integrated Drug & Alcohol Service. The post is based in Fraserburgh with travel across Aberdeenshire.

You will support nursing staff and partner agencies in delivering Locality Access Points and improving access to treatment and recovery interventions. We value excellent communication and team-working skills, and a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Experience within alcohol and drug services, health or social care, or a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of person-centred, recovery-focused care for people affected by alcohol and drug use.
• Support nursing staff and partner agencies in delivering Locality Access Points and improving timely access to treatment, practical support and recovery interventions.
• Contribute to improving engagement with services, reducing unplanned discharges and strengthening pathways with partner services.
