Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Support Worker to join a recovery-focused team providing information, guidance and structured interventions to people with substance use issues. The role involves one-to-one work, group sessions, and collaboration with partner agencies to ensure continuity of care.

You will manage a caseload, deliver psychosocial interventions and support service users to improve safety, health and independence. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience in recovery-focused settings or similar environment.
• Ability to deliver psychosocial interventions and group work.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work with diverse partner agencies and communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload and deliver psychosocial interventions.
• Undertake assessments, risk assessments, and referrals within the community.
• Facilitate group sessions with diverse individuals.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide duty cover for service users.
