Job summary

Change Grow Live is recruiting for a role within the Drug and Alcohol Recovery team based at HMP Humber. The post involves delivering group and one-to-one support to service users in encouraging recovery and social integration.

You will develop and deliver psychosocial interventions, tailor work to the needs of the caseload, and promote engagement with underserved communities while upholding information governance and safeguarding standards. This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity.

Qualifications

• Sensitivity to diverse needs and complex situations.
• Recovery-focused approach with knowledge of psychosocial interventions.
• Ability to adapt to change prioritising service users' needs.
• Commitment to information governance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Work with service users to initiate recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependence and support their long-term recovery and social reintegration.
• Develop and deliver group psychosocial interventions tailored to caseload needs.
• Be creative to meet service user needs, promote access to treatment and engage underrepresented communities.
• Assess suitability for groups related to risk and special needs with prison partners.
