Job summary

Change Grow Live is recruiting a Recovery Coordinator to deliver recovery-focused interventions in Norwich, working with Norfolk Public Health to support people affected by drugs and alcohol. You will manage a caseload, undertake assessments, develop recovery plans and coordinate care with partners, families and service users to promote meaningful change.

Applicants should have strong communication skills, experience with groups/pods, good IT skills and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience within health, social care or related field desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Supporting service users from entry into the service and through treatment/recovery.
• Screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reducing harm from drugs and alcohol in the community.
• Promoting involvement of carers, service users and community.
• Advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Work with service users to support social reintegration and recovery goals.
• Deliver group sessions and tailor workshops to needs of users.
• Collaborate with co-facilitators and evaluate progress with service users.
