Job summary

Hough Green Garage is recruiting Recovery Drivers for 7.5t, HGV 1 and HGV 2 to provide 24/7 breakdown and recovery services across the region. The role involves attending breakdowns, safe vehicle recovery, and customer-focused service delivery with a professional approach.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, weekly pay, full training, and opportunities to gain additional driving qualifications. A modern fleet and PPE provided support day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• DCPC & Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Proven driving experience; recovery experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and accident scenes across the operational area.
• Safely recover and transport vehicles from motorways and major routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain a tidy vehicle/yard.
• Ensure all jobs are completed using company PDA systems.
• Assist with moving vehicles within the depot as required.
