Job summary

Hough Green Garage in Telford (TF3 3BN) is hiring Recovery Drivers for 7.5t, HGV1 and HGV2. 4 on/2 off shifts, 12-hour days, permanent role with weekly pay and full training. Must hold a 7.5T, HGV1 or HGV2 licence and have full UK driving status.

Competitive hourly rates with overtime, call-out pay, and modern fleet of over 200 vehicles. Successful candidates will be able to work independently, demonstrate excellent customer service, and pass police vetting. Right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Proven communication skills and customer focus.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and independently.
• Experience in breakdown/roadside assistance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and accident scenes across the operational area.
• Safely recover and transport vehicles from motorways and major routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain a tidy vehicle/yard.
• Ensure all jobs are completed using company PDA systems.
• Assist with moving vehicles within the depot as required.
