Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Opiate/Crack Cocaine Recovery Coordinator to join their team. Job description

Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people from getting the support they need to live a life they value. We address poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related support services.

We have nearly 200 services across England, supported by approximately 3,500 staff and volunteers. Annually, our services assist around 125,000 people.

As we integrate two large organizations, some systems and branding (such as ‘Humankind’) are still separate, but full integration is underway.

Job Role

Opiate/Crack Cocaine Recovery Coordinator

This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will:

  1. Manage a caseload of clients, creating, implementing, and reviewing recovery and treatment plans, and delivering PSI interventions.
  2. Facilitate and promote progression from initial engagement into structured treatment.
  3. Support clients through various treatment stages, from assessment to exiting treatment and aftercare.
  4. Collaborate with partner agencies for shared assessments, key working, and interventions to promote client progression toward self-sustained recovery.
  5. Contribute to reducing substance-related harm in individuals and the wider community.
