Join a forward-thinking charity dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate support. As a Recovery Outreach Worker, you will engage with individuals facing challenges related to substance use and mental health, guiding them towards recovery. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team. With a commitment to fair chances for all, you will help empower individuals to unlock their potential and achieve self-sustained recovery. If you are passionate about making a difference, this position is perfect for you.
Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people from getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related support.
We have almost 200 services around England and nearly 3,500 staff and volunteers who run them. Every year, our services support around 125,000 people.
Bringing together two large organizations is complex, and it will take time to fully integrate our systems, processes, and approaches. Therefore, you may notice that current job postings are still branded as ‘Humankind’. Next year, we plan to fully integrate our recruitment systems, but for now, they are separate.
