Job summary

Johnsons Cars in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome customers at our Volkswagen dealership on weekends.

This part-time role (14 hours weekly, Saturday and Sunday) focuses on warm greetings, handling calls, basic admin in Microsoft Office, and maintaining tidy reception areas.

A valid UK driving licence is helpful; you will join a team that values professionalism and customer care.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with customers.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 for admin tasks.
• Comfortable answering and directing phone calls.
• Valid UK driving licence is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Give a professional and warm welcome to every customer at the reception.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Give a professional and warm welcome to every customer as soon as they walk through the door.
• Strive for exceptional service by understanding each customer’s needs and providing a seamless experience, offering assistance and refreshments whenever needed.
• A high standard of organisation and attention to detail, ensuring customer-facing areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and meeting rooms are replenished with food and beverages as required.
• Handle any customer complaints with empathy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be confident in communicating with customers
• Have previous experience working with Microsoft office 356 (or similar)
• Be confident in answering the phone and making phone calls
• Ideally hold a valid UK driving licence.
