Job summary

Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon, London, is hiring a Receptionist for the Radiology department. This permanent, full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with shifts 7:45am–3:45pm or 12:00pm–8:00pm on weekdays and 8:00am–1:00pm on Saturdays as part of rotation.

You will greet visitors, provide courteous customer care, direct patients, and support the smooth operation of the main reception. Strong communication, empathy, flexibility and basic IT skills (Word/Excel) are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Empathy, initiative and a flexible, motivated approach are essential.
• Basic computer proficiency including Word and Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the main reception in the Radiology department.
• Create a friendly, professional environment and provide efficient customer service to all visitors.
• Greet and guide patients, answer queries warmly and direct them as needed.
• Demonstrate empathy and initiative in handling enquiries and directing staff.
