Leisure Solutions Community Trust is hiring a Receptionist at Aqua Vale Swimming and Fitness Centre in Aylesbury. You will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and helping them access the facilities and services they need.

Responsibilities include front-desk duties, processing new memberships, promoting health and fitness services, handling cash, and supporting the team while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. Part-time, weekend hours with an hourly rate of £8.84 to £12.71.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering strong customer service in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Confident in IT systems and Microsoft Office; able to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve queries effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Flexible mindset to adapt and support the wider team.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent customer service face to face and over the telephone.
• Manage reception duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Process new memberships and manage new member enquiries.
• Promote health and fitness services and swimming lessons, and membership upgrades.
• Handle cash transactions and follow financial procedures accurately.
• Support colleagues across the team when required.
• Maintain a safe and compliant environment in line with policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders to deliver consistent service excellence.
