Job summary

voco Oxford Spires in Oxford is seeking a friendly Receptionist for a full-time role. You will greet guests, check them in, assist with luggage and help ensure a superb guest experience in a busy hotel environment.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.15 (about £27,352 per year), staff accommodation, meals on duty, generous holiday entitlement, and opportunities to grow with IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering great service and guest-focused attitude.
• Previous experience in Reception/Guest Relations/Concierge roles.
• Experience handling guest queries and complaints.
• Experience using Opera PMS is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a hotel team.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and assist with luggage.
• Provide a warm, efficient welcome and resolve guest requests.
• Assist guests with information and directions around the hotel.
• Maintain a positive first impression and support smooth front desk operations.
