Job summary

voco Oxford Spires, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, is recruiting a Receptionist for a flexible 16-hour week with a primary focus on night shifts. There will be occasional day and evening shifts as needed.

The position offers £14.15 per hour and opportunities to pick up extra shifts within a welcoming hotel team. Your role involves welcoming guests, checking them in, assisting with luggage, and providing information about services and local attractions.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering great service and guest focused.
• Previous experience in Receptionist, Guest Relations, Concierge.
• Experience handling guests queries and complaints.

Hotel: VX - Oxford Spires (OXFAR), Abingdon Road, OX1 4PS

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join our team at voco Oxford Spires on a 16-hour per week contract, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.

We're looking for someone who is primarily interested in Night Reception shifts, while also being happy to work occasional day and evening shifts when required. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexibility and variety within a friendly hotel team.

You will earn £14.15 per hour.

As a receptionist you will play a vital part in delivering a superior guest experience, from Checking Guests in, to assisting with guest luggage - every day is different! We take pride in the fact that we are experts in what we do and love to demonstrate this expertise to our guests with a sense of flair.

To succeed as a Receptionist, you will need:

• To be passionate about delivering great service and be guest focused
• Previous experience in Receptionist, Guest Relations, Concierge
• Experience with handling guests queries and complaints
• Experience using Opera PMS is a huge advantage
• To be willing to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team!
