Job summary

Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House in Sutton Scotney, just outside Winchester, is seeking a friendly front desk host to welcome guests, check them in, take payments and handle enquiries.

You will work in a 4-star, 165-bedroom property with leisure facilities, Scene restaurant, and event spaces. A passion for customer service and ability to multi-task are essential; training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to handle guest enquiries and resolve issues politely and efficiently.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and take payments.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints in a friendly, professional manner to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform general administrative duties and support across front-of-house operations.

What will I do?

You will be the first impression a guest will have upon arriving at the hotel, you’ll greet guests, assign rooms, take payments and general administrative duties. Ensure all guest enquires/complaints are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner, always ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
