South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist to provide a professional reception service at Sunderland Royal Hospital. The role requires daily front-desk duties, delivering administrative support to the Recruitment Services Team, and assisting with pre-employment checks and ID badges.
The postholder will work Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.00pm (4:30pm Friday), supporting HR transactional services across the Trust Headquarters and departments.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist to provide an effective and efficient reception service within Trust Headquarters at Sunderland Royal Hospital. The postholder will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8.30am 5.00pm (4:30pm Friday). As part of the Reception Team, you will play an important role in delivering a high quality and professional service as part of the Workforce & Organisational Development Directorate. You will be responsible for meeting and directing visitors in a friendly and efficient manner for the Human Resources Team and other departments based within Trust Headquarters, as well as delivering administrative support and assistance to the Recruitment Services Team by undertaking pre-employment checks and issuing ID badges. Recruitment Services are a dynamic and diverse team who are committed to providing an excellent recruitment service. You will have the ability to communicate information to a range of people on a range of matters face to face, by telephone and in writing/email and demonstrable customer service skills and have previous reception experience. You must have basic IT skills / standard keyboard skills / working knowledge of Microsoft Office and GCSE level pass at C grade or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent) or NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent). The Workforce and Organisational Development Directorate delivers a wide range of HR transactional services to South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, plus two Subsidiary Companies, and our Recruitment Services Team is at the centre of ensuring the very best staff are recruited to deliver high quality care to our patients / service users.
