Job summary

Seaham Hall seeks a dedicated Receptionist to greet guests and ensure a seamless stay at our luxury hotel in Seaham, County Durham.

You’ll work with the front desk team to deliver warm, personalised service across guest touchpoints, including weekends and bank holidays, with shifts from 7:45am to 10:30pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality experience a bonus).
• A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and professional presentation.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office; PMS knowledge is a plus (training provided).
• A team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable transport, given early starts and late finishes.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist at check-in/check-out.
• Coordinate with reception and reservations teams to ensure a smooth guest journey.
• Maintain a warm, professional front-desk presence aligned with the Seaham Hall brand.
