Job summary

Seaham Hall is seeking a Pool Host to join our luxury spa team. The role offers hourly pay of £12.21 plus a share of the service charge, with approximately £2k per annum for a 40-hour week.

Expected weekly hours range from 0–20 hours, with shifts across mornings to evenings, including weekends and bank holidays. This position reports to Spa Management and requires a courteous, guest-focused approach, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness, guest queries, and proactive service in a five-star

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality experience a bonus).
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure maximum cleanliness around facilities.
  • See to guest queries and demands in a professional manner.
  • Familiarise yourself with current members.
  • Ensure towel and robe removal from poolside in line with guest flow.
  • Ensure magazines and online library are available for guest leisure.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and report to management when required.
  • Report maintenance issues to reception.
  • Support smooth operations within the spa by working with Seaham Hall team.
  • Follow and respect all company policies and health and safety procedures.

Location: SeahamHall, County Durham


Salary: £12.21 per hour plus share of service charge (approx. £2k perannum for employees working 40 hours a week)


Hours: 0-20hours per week (full-time), including weekends and bank holidays (part-time available), shift pattern will include a variety of shifts between6.30am and 10.30pm including weekends & bank holidays.
