Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to welcome patients, visitors and staff. You will manage appointments, answer calls, register new patients, update records, and support clinical teams with administrative tasks.
You will handle confidential information in line with data protection and safeguarding requirements, contribute to clinic administration, and help ensure a high-quality, efficient service across the trust's reception services.
Welcome patients, visitors and professionals in a friendly and professional manner. Manage appointments and maintain an efficient appointment system. Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries and direct calls appropriately. Register new patients and update patient records accurately. Process clinical correspondence, electronic tasks and administrative requests. Support clinicians and support workers with administrative duties. Liaise with prescription, scanning and clinical teams to resolve patient queries. Maintain accurate electronic patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Assist with clinic administration and the day-to-day running of reception. Comply with data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding requirements. Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a high-quality service.
