Job description

The Role

We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join our busy school team.

As the first point of contact for pupils, families, visitors and staff, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service. You will have experience of working in a busy office environment, ideally within a school or educational setting, and be confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, and demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a wider administration team. A calm, professional manner, strong organisational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.

This role is full time hours, working Monday - Friday, 9am - 4.30pm, term time only, plus 2 additional days to be worked within school holidays across the year (specific days to be in agreement with Senior School Business Manager).

  • Induction and ongoing training
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Access to a rewards scheme designed to save money on shopping
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Sociable working hours, finishing at 4pm most days.
  • Have the school holidays off
