Cheshire East Council in Middlewich is seeking a Receptionist to be the first point of contact, handling visitor access, mail, and enquiries. The 0.61 FTE role offers 22.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8am-12:30pm, within the Environmental Hub's Business Support Team.
You will use Word and Excel, maintain records, support health and safety, and deliver a high-quality customer experience in a busy office.
An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Business Support Team at the Environmental Hub in Middlewich.
The role is for 0.61 FTE (22.5 hours) per week. Monday to Friday, 8am to 12:30pm.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, colleagues and customers, providing a professional and welcoming reception service while supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the business. You will manage enquiries by phone, email and in person, coordinate visitor access and site security procedures, distribute incoming and outgoing mail, maintain records and databases, prepare ID cards and security fobs, and provide essential administrative support using Microsoft Office applications. This is a varied role that requires excellent organisation, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience. This role would suit someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy office environment and takes pride in providing an efficient and professional service.
