Cheshire East Council is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Digital Services team on a full-time basis. You will design, implement and support the Council's voice, data, video, and wireless networks across multiple sites.
You will manage LANs and WANs, troubleshoot incidents, optimise performance and contribute to infrastructure projects. A proactive, collaborative approach and strong customer service are essential.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Digital Services team as a Network Engineer on a full-time basis (37 hours per week).
As a Network Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the Council's network infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of secure, resilient, and high-performing connectivity services across the organisation.
You will be the subject matter expert responsible for the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the Council's voice, data, video, and wireless networking environments. Working as part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, you will manage and support Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs), troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimise network performance, and contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects and service improvements.
