Cheshire East Council is seeking a Modern Workplace Officer to deliver and support modern workplace services across Microsoft 365, endpoint management and related technologies. You will ensure secure, compliant and well-managed devices and identities.
The role involves supporting Entra-joined devices, Windows Hello for Business, and cloud-managed services, with opportunities to contribute to digital transformation projects across the Council.
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Digital team as a Modern Workplace Officer.
This role is key to the delivery and support of the Council's modern workplace services, providing third-line technical expertise across Microsoft 365, endpoint management and modern workplace technologies. You will play an important role in ensuring the Council's digital workplace remains secure, compliant, effective and aligned to the needs of the organisation.
As the Council continues its digital transformation journey, you'll support and help deliver major initiatives including the transition to Entra-joined devices, Windows Hello for Business, modern endpoint management and the ongoing move from legacy technologies to cloud-managed services.
You will provide third-line technical support and administration across the Council's modern workplace environment, helping to ensure devices, identities and Microsoft 365 services remain secure, compliant and effectively managed.
You'll work collaboratively with colleagues, technical specialists and third-party suppliers to resolve complex incidents and service requests, maintain service performance and contribute to the continual improvement of digital services across the organisation.
You will support and administer a range of modern workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365, endpoint management, modern identity services and unified communications, whilst contributing to service improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
