We are currently recruiting for a Part-time Receptionist at Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

One of the most renowned country house spa hotels in Kent, Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa is a beautiful rural retreat nestled within 12 acres of glorious parkland and gardens. Providing a boutique, home-away-from-home experience, the property’s convenient location to London offers the best of both worlds, whether visiting for business or leisure.

Role Responsibilities
  1. The role of our receptionists is to deliver an exceptional guest experience by putting the guest at the heart of everything you do, through personalised and thoughtful service with care and attention to detail.
  2. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of engagement with guests throughout their stay to make them feel at home, relaxed, and to create magical memories at every opportunity.
  3. In collaboration with the Front Office team, you’ll maintain regular and effective communication to ensure seamless operations and awareness of daily activities.
  4. Most importantly, we want you to be inspired, have fun, and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
About You
  1. To be considered for this role, you should have experience working in a luxury four or five-star hotel within a front office environment.
  2. You should be passionate about exceeding guest expectations and skilled at identifying opportunities to enhance their experience through hotel products and facilities.
  3. Demonstrating high emotional intelligence is essential to anticipate guest needs and ensure they receive a Hand Picked experience.
  4. You should have proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Opera is desirable.
  5. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach should enable you to find solutions in any scenario.
  6. Maintain a calm and professional demeanor, with a positive attitude even under pressure.

  2. This is a part-time role, working 3 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota, totaling 24 hours per week, with flexibility depending on business needs.
