Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa in Glasgow is seeking a Front Office Receptionist on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will welcome guests, check them in/out, handle queries and promote the IHG One Rewards program, delivering heartfelt personal service.

• Proficient with hotel systems; Opera experience a big plus.

• Willing to work with the Kimpton team to delight guests.

What do you need to be a Front Office Receptionist?

Your main duties and responsibilities will be checking in and out our guests, dealing with any queries or complaints, welcoming our guests to the city and interacting with them to encourage them to join our loyalty program. You will also be a key part of our guests’ overall stay, providing special experiences and recognising our loyal IHG One Rewards members. So, we are looking for someone who has…

• Availability to work 40 hours per week (weekend availability is required)
• Experience working as a Receptionist, Concierge or Guest Services Agent at a 4/5* Hotel is beneficial
• Confident working on hotel systems, experience working with Opera specifically is a big plus
• Drive to produce results, we work together within the Kimpton family to continue to provide our guests with extremely personal experiences and human connection.
• A warm and authentic personality, with a can-do attitude and commitment to service.
• Overall, you will be willing to work within our team to embrace our service and delight our guests!
